Tuition
$480.00 per trimester hour (plus additional $15 per credit hour fee for online/hybrid courses and additional $75 per credit hour fee for lab/clinical courses)

This program may be completed in 6 trimesters (18 months).
Delivery Method
This program is only available in an in-person format due to lab, clinical, and preceptorship hours required for degree completion. However, there are a few required courses in the curriculum and a few electives that are delivered in an online or hybrid format. In-person courses are offered at all three William Carey locations.
Applicant Prerequisites & Requirements
Students are not required to take the nursing entrance (preadmission) exam provided the following requirements are met:
• Must admit to William Carey University as a first-time freshman and declare Nursing as a major
• Must maintain full-time status through the prerequisite period and take all prerequisite courses at William Carey University (with the exception of High School Dual Enrollment, AP, and CLEP credit)
• Must have ≥ 3.5 high school GPA and maintain a minimum GPA of ≥ 3.0 based on courses required for the BSN degree; all course attempts will be calculated in the GPA
• Minimum ACT composite score of 24 (on a single ACT attempt)
• Must meet the follow requirements:
- Any student with two failures (D or F) in the same or a combination of science courses is not eligible for admission unless they meet the minimum required score on the ATI TEAS examination (see pre-licensure BSN admission information) and score at or above the BSN program mean on the science subscore of the ATI TEAS exam. This rule pertains to BIO 234, BIO 235, BIO 260, CHE 101, and HEA 240.
- Students must complete all prerequisite courses and all but nine hours of university core requirements prior to entering the nursing program.
Career Outlooks
Graduates will be qualified to begin working as Registered Nurses upon graduating from the program AND successfully passing the NCLEX-RN.
