Tuition
The tuition for the William Carey University Doctor of Pharmacy Program for the 2022-2023 academic year is $42,000.

Additional items NOT included are professional certificates/licensures including a Basic Life Support Training and Certificate fee, immunizations, an initial drug screening, criminal background checks, CPR certification, graduation fee, and any additional requirement or expense incurred to attend rotation sites will all be the responsibility of the student.

This is an accelerated 34-month program.
Delivery Method
This program is delivered in a traditional in-person format at William Carey’s Tradition campus in Biloxi, Mississippi, with required clinical/experiential learning that allows students to work alongside established and trusted industry experts, to gain advanced skills and knowledge to graduate, to become a leader in the profession, and to build their social impact as a pharmacist within our communities.
Applicant Prerequisites & Requirements
Prospective Students must:

Complete all prerequisite courses from a regionally accredited US college or university or an English-speaking Canadian college or university with a grade of C- or higher. In addition, all prerequisite science lab courses must be obtained in person (no online lab coursework will be accepted).

Highly competitive applicants should have prerequisites completed within 7 years of the relevant application cycle. The admissions committee reserves the right to extend the period beyond 7 years on a case-by-case basis.

All prerequisites must be completed by end of the spring term immediately preceding matriculation into the School of Pharmacy, unless informed otherwise by the admissions office. Dual enrollment precludes admission into the School of Pharmacy; all course work must be completed prior to the first day of class.

Have a preferred overall GPA or 3.0 or higher, with a preferred science and math GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Bachelors degree preferred but not required.

Career Outlooks
With successful completion of the Doctor of Pharmacy program, graduates will be prepared to work in retail or community pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, managed care facilities, long term care facilities, government agencies, or in Pharmacy industry careers ion research and development or insurance.
